Street

About

Street photography has always felt like the ultimate game, where points are earned for culminating people, objects, color, and light in a single photo all set in the perfect setting on a street corner. All that is true, but it is more too. It’s the self-introspection that occurs as a result of the process and its final images. The quiet reflection on myself and the world around me that happens in conjunction with all those formal elements is key to the work. Like me and everyone else in the world, life is constantly pushing forward as we interact with the world around us. Responding to the quiet moments of unknown interactions among people produces images that tell both a story to the viewer, and a telling reflection to me the photographer.
